I wasn't blowing smoke, arterial calcification reversal protocol, Maurice Daher
Pay attention to how Maurice responds to this comment:
It would seem to me that simpler way to generate Nitric Oxide would be to eat more green vegetables. Combined with regular cardio exercise it would greatly enhance arterial health by generating Endothelial Progenitor Cells - the cleanup/ repair crew for one's arterial walls, specifically the Glycocalyx. However I think everyone should first go back to square one and try to figure out why one has plaque buildup in the first place. Is it, for example, genetic, diet, alcohol , smoking, seed oil, ultra processed food, or HBP related.
Hi James; Let me explain something crucial about arterial health that most don't understand. While many focus on diet and lifestyle factors, two key nutrients actually control your arterial function - Magnesium and Vitamin D3. When these become depleted, your arteries lose their ability to function properly.
Here's something interesting - while many recommend vegetables for nitric oxide production, high-oxalate vegetables can actually interfere with this pathway. Take beets or celery for example - you'd need about 300g per serving to get just 500mg of nitrates for NO activation. That's a lot of vegetables!
And yes, while processed foods, alcohol, smoking, and seed oils are harmful, they're actually secondary to the fundamental issue: they all deplete your body's magnesium and vitamin D3 stores. These two nutrients are absolutely crucial for arterial health, yet they're the most commonly depleted. Fix these first, and you'll see why my protocol focuses so heavily on them.
